Beyond NK: $10,000 for North Korean Refugee Education

A campaign of Harvard Undergraduates for North Korean Human Rights (HRiNK)

Over the next several months, HRiNK aims to raise $10,000 for the education of North Korean refugee children at the Mulmangcho School in Seoul, South Korea.

We have chosen to fundraise for this school because the plight of North Korean refugees extends far beyond just the process of fleeing North Korea. Refugees often face many forms of discrimination, culture shock, and language barriers, even in South Korea.

Furthermore, through this campaign, we hope to raise awareness about the remarkable stories of these children, including the hardships they faced in North Korea that led them to flee, their harrowing accounts of escape, and the challenges of their day-to-day life abroad.

We believe that the Mulmangcho School represents one of the most outstanding organizations of its kind in South Korea, and that your donation will make a tremendous impact on the lives of refugees who are struggling to find their way in a radically new and different world.
